Privacy notice: supplier contact details
Who we are. FSFM GmbH (Clacta), Fischerinsel 6, 10179 Berlin, Germany. Contact for privacy questions or complaints: info@fsfmgmbh.com.
What we keep. For companies in our supplier library, we keep the business e-mail address the company has published for contact, for example in its public company register record or on its website. Usually this is a general address such as info@. At smaller companies it can carry an employee's name. We keep it with the company's record, not as a list of people.
What we use it for. Only to write to the company, from our system, about its own record on Clacta:
- when a buyer on Clacta asks the company for documents (such as test reports) or invites it to take part in a check;
- to invite the company to claim and manage its record, or to clarify points we could not verify;
- to tell the company about something we show, or are about to show, about it that it may want to answer, for example a certificate whose details don't match the issuer's register.
Buyers don't see the address.
Legal basis. Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest, and our buyers' interest, in reaching a company at the address it has published for business contact.
Who handles it. Our team in Germany, who look up the address and enter it. Our database (Supabase, EU) and our servers (Hetzner, Germany). Our e-mail service, Resend (USA), when we send, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We don't sell the address or pass it to anyone else.
How long. As long as the company is in our supplier library. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.
Your rights. You can ask for access, correction or deletion, and you can object at any time: reply "stop" to any of our e-mails, or write to info@fsfmgmbh.com. After a "stop" we send that address nothing else, with one exception: if we show, or are about to show, something about the company that it may want to correct, we tell it once. That message contains only the notice and how to answer it. You can also complain to a supervisory authority. Details are in our main privacy policy.
